Recovery with
counselling
Arc provides easily accessible, flexible, local low cost counselling at the heart of the community.
The service supports the personal recovery of local patients registered at Axminster Medical Practice, who are seeking help through times of profound change, trauma and loss.
Our independent team of experienced and qualified therapists are based at Axminster Medical Practice. Thanks to this unique professional integration and collaboration, any GP's and health professionals based there can refer you to Arc.
Counsellors offer one to one sessions. They spend in depth time with you, looking at your needs and concerns. They will help you readjust to some of the painful changes taking place in your life. Rather than offer advice, they will help you:

ARC: AN OASIS
Since opening its doors in January 2007, Arc has tirelessly committed itself to providing a profoundly humanistic, relational model of talking therapies within its NHS setting. It has valiantly adhered to its mission statement of providing providing a service that aspires to no waiting list and affordability.
We hope that this website can introduce you to our service and help you find out more about counselling and the support we have been providing to the community since January 2007.
Our organisation is entirely self funded and relied solely on donations to help us generously subsidise the cost of each session.

Matt's fundraiser for ARC
Matt Waters will be walking the 5km course of Seaton parkrun alongside a host of people running in the weekly event. If you are thinking that there is nothing noteworthy about this, think again, as this will be the longest walk he's attempted since losing both his legs to sepsis in November 22'.
We are super grateful that Matt has decided to raise money for Arc. Click on the link and read all about Matt's story and please donate and support if you can.
Good luck Matt!
