Putting Personal Recovery at the Heart of what we do...
Our charity relies entirely on the income from Arc's charity shop, voluntary contributions and community funding. Without this committed endorsement, none of our frontline clinical work would be possible. The success of our charity shop is in no doubt down to the passionate endorsement of its management and team of volunteers.

FRIENDS OF ARC
Our shop is also a meeting point between the charity and the community. It is a point of contact for all information about the service, outside the formal setting of Axminster Medical Practice.

It also provides the community with valuable volunteering opportunities alongside other continually evolving user-led craft projects.
MAKE AND MEND
Make and Mend is a successful craft hub for participants of all backgrounds, experiences and ages, who share a common ambition to turn our shop into a 'zero landfill waste' project. Participants enjoy having a common ethos and love of crafts and skills. Recycling and up-scaling unwanted items into gems has brought all involved a new-found positivity and purpose: creativity, connections, cross-pollination of ideas are invaluable in helping individuals maintain their emotional improvement and wellbeing and look positively to the future.
Visit the shop: Tuesday to Friday, from 9.30 to 4.00 or Saturday 9.30 to 2.00
